As soon as we got off the train it became a great trip because we bumped into Alfie Deyes (who we are all massive fans of, and if you do not know who he is go search him on YouTube) and got our photos taken:
He was so lovely and so kind when 3 idiots came running towards him in Brighton Station, and it was just such a privilege to meet him.
From there, we headed down into The Lane's, and to a shop called Snoopers Paradise. This is a vintage shop fall of old, random bits which are all lovely. Inside there is a Polaroid style photobooth, and my friends and I decided to go inside and take a few photos.
As I said, it is fall of random bits, and a few of the bits that particularly caught my eye were the necklace with an attached magnifying glass, and the hats (which there was a whole wall of):
After leaving that store, we headed down into the MAC store of Duke Street. We were looking at the eyeshadows, as one of my friends wanted one to wear on a daily basis, and I wanted to look for one for my eyebrows. I couldn't actually find one that I thought was good for my eyebrows, but it could just have been the way I looked at them, so if you know an eyeshadow that is good for eyebrows please let me know in the comments.
After leaving here, we went up to Urban Outfitters, where I tried on a pair of boots but didn't buy them there, however they were so lovely. But, you know the cardboard that you put inside if shoes so they can keep their shape, I was putting that back in and it gave me a cardboard cut, which quite happily (sorry if you're squeamish): bled for 2 hours straight, which was rather annoying.
After that, we went to Primark (as always) and I picked up a new eye-liner with a felt-tip end, which, even though I've only tried it once, I rather like it, and it was only £1.50!
After Primark, all 3 of us were rather tired, and the weather was getting worse and worse, so we decided to head home.
I will just say that I love Brighton, and if you are ever given the chance to go and visit it, take it. I'm lucky as I live very close, but I know people that live far away, and obviously don't get to visit it as much. I hope you enjoyed reading this post, and that having an insight to a day in my life was rather interesting.
