Hey Guys! I thought I would try something new today and do a tutorial as there are lots of Christmas parties on at the moment (AND CHRISTMAS IS SOON) so I thought it would be a nice thing to do a step-by-step eye look.
1) My first step is to take my Mabelline Colour Tattoo 24hr in Eternal Gold and (using my finger) put it all across the eyelid. This will help stop the eye shadow creasing or coming off during the day, and it will also make the colours pop.
2) For this look I will be using my Sleek Palette in Storm. My second step is to take the matte brown colour and, using my Fraulein 38 large shader brush, put it across the entire lid.
4) My fourth step is to take the slightly lighter, shimmery brown and blend it into the darker colour on the centre of my eyelid. I do this using the medium shader brush again.
5) My fifth step is to take the bright gold, and using a Fraulein 38 small shader brush put the eye shadow on the inner 1/3 of my eyelid.
6) My sixth step is to take the very light highlighter eye shadow and put it in the inner corner of my eye using the small shader brush again. This brightens and makes my eye stand out more.
7) My next step is to take the matte black and a Fraulein 38 angled-brow brush. Using this I put the eye-shadow in the out V of the eyelid, this helps to contour the eye in the next step.
8) My eighth step is to take a Fraulein 38 blender brush and a dab of the black and blend the eye-shadow into the crease and outer V of the eyelid. This makes a good contrast of colours between the black and gold.
9) I then take the black on my lower-lash-line and this just defines my eye even more. I do this using the edge of the small shader brush, and then just rubbing it in with my finger slightly so the line is not so harsh.
10) To finish the look off I add my favourite mascara and a nudey pink lip gloss. To do this I am using the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara (full review here) and MUA Intense Kisses Lip Gloss in 'Sealed with a Kiss'.
11) And tah-dah: the final look!
Thank you for reading! I hope you found this tutorial helpful and that you love the look as much as I do!
