I wear eye-shadow everyday. I find that it makes the blue in my eyes stand out, and it also makes my eyes look bigger. I use at least one of the MUA Pearl Eye-shadows almost everyday (depending what look I'm going for), so I thought it was good to do a review on them.
Left to Right: Shade 10, Shade 4, Shade 26, Shade 3, Shade 28 |
For shade 4, I haven't actually used this in years, I only found it the other day in my bathroom, but it is such a pretty pink colour. It is great for bringing out the blue in people eyes. If I use it, I would use it on the inner half of my eye to brighten that area, and then I can choose a colour with a real contrast for the second half.
For shade 26, it is a light blue, with a sort of gold undertone in it. It is so pretty and definitely my favourite out of these 5. It is great for the just before the inner corner, and the inner third/half of under the eye.
For shade 3, it is very much a silver, which is very nice because you can use it in so many different looks. I tend to use it on the outer third of my eye when doing a smoky-eye, as it blends really nicely into a darker colour for the crease.
And finally, for shade 28, it is a really nice copper colour, which is great for Autumn. I use this in the centre of my eye, as it is rather bright, but looks nice at the same time.
What I love about these eye-shadows is how blend-able and pigmented they are. They blend so well into different colours and into different parts of the eye, and you do not need to use much to cover the entire eye at all.
I definitely recommend these eye-shadows. They're so cheap, and they are brilliant if you are just starting to get into eye-shadow.
Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed!
