Review: Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr's

Hey Guys! I thought, as I did a review on powdered eye-shadow's yesterday, I would do a review on some gel/cream eye-shadows: The Maybelline Color Tattoo 24hr's.

Pink Gold and Eternal Gold
I have Pink Gold and Eternal Gold. I bought them a few months ago when I was out shopping with my friends, and I had heard so many great reviews about them that I thought I would give them a go. And, I'm so happy I did. I use them as bases beneath my eye-shadow (and they do stop creasing exceptionally well) and if I'm having a lazy day or I really cannot be bothered to get ready properly, I use them as a pop of colour.

Pink Gold is definitely my favourite out of the two of them. It is such a nice colour, brilliant to use as a base for any eye-shadow. I find it makes the colour on my eye stand out so well, and if I am just wearing this, it brings out the blue in my eyes brilliantly. I find it is such a creamy texture, and it goes on so well. It blends amazingly, all over the eye. It feels like a mousse when you apply it, so it is very gentle. The small sparkle in it is such a nice touch, and brightens the eye so well.

I am not as big a fan of Eternal Gold. It is not the colour, it is more the formulation. I honestly think the colour is lovely, but I just don't like the product. When applying it I find it is hard to blend out, so I am having to use a lot of the product to go all over my eye, which is the complete opposite to Pink Gold. Also, I find that the sparkles come out in massive chunks, so it does not apply smoothly, and looks funny. I don't know whether I just got a dud packet, but I definitely would not be buying this colour again, whereas I would buy Pink Gold again, no doubt.

For around £5, I would definitely recommend Pink Gold. Also, there is a lot of rave about the On & On Bronze one, I do not own it but I am definitely going to check it out soon! So yeah, I think they're excellent dupes of MAC's Paintpot's, and they're amazing for people who don't want to have to bother with the hassle of eye-shadow.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed it!
