So first up is my new bookcase. This is the 'Billy' bookcase from Ikea. The size I bought it in was 40x28x202cm, I got it in white, and it was £20. You can get different colours (different types of wood) but they're around the £40 mark. Nearly all of the bookcases in my house are from the 'Billy' range, as they last so well. The previous bookcase I had was a 'Billy', but it was a bigger one, it lasted over 11 years and it didn't break at all.
The next item is my new desk. It is from the 'Malm' range from Ikea (again). I got it in white, and it was £100. Again, you can get it in different colours but they're more expensive. The size of this desk is 140x65x73cm. The reason I got the 'Malm' one was because I have a lot of products from the 'Malm' collection in my room that have lasted so well. And, when we went to Ikea to check out different types of desks, this one felt the sturdiest.
The next items are my new shelves. These are the Ekby Järpen shelves with the Ekby Bjärnum brackets (from Ikea, surprise). These were, for 1, £18 (including the brackets). I've never owned a product from this range, but when I put the heavy speakers on they didn't break straight away, which is a good sign. They also feel very sturdy when you touch them, so I think they will last a while.
My final new product is my bedding. To be perfectly honest I don't actually know where my actual bed is from, as my parents got it for me when I was little. But, I did get new bedding. It is the Sötblomster set (from Ikea, again). It is £15 (for the 150x200cm) and it comes with a duvet cover, and 2 pillow cases, which I personally think is a great price. I've never owned Ikea duvet cover sets before, but for £15 I wasn't bothered if it broke.
