Review: Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation

Review: Rimmel London Wake Me Up Foundation
For my first reviews, I thought I'd start with a must-have product in my make-up regime: Foundation! I want to talk about the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation.

I love this foundation! It claims to create an 'Anti-Fatigue' look, which it does so well! It has a small shimmer in it which reflects light to make you look more awake. This shimmer also creates a 'radiant glow' (as claimed).

The foundation is also so easy to apply, and so blend-able. When I apply it, I use a RealTechniques Expert Face Brush, and these two combined are excellent. You can blend it easily around the edges of your face and down your neck so there are no foundation-lines. I'd say this foundation is medium-high coverage, so it is a very natural look, and does not cake at all. Also, what is really helpful about this foundation, is that it comes with a pump, so you can get just the right amount for what you need.

Another thing I love about this foundation is the packaging. I think the hourglass glass bottle is so elegant, and then the orange cap and pump make it stand out wonderfully. I also love the attention to detail, such as the glass engraving of the Rimmel London logo on the side.

The one problem I do have with this foundation is that I have oily skin, so even when I powder, shine will come through after maybe an hour or two. This doesn't bother me too much, I've got used to it, but if you really don't like shine and have oily skin, it might not be the right foundation for you.

Anyway, that is my first review done! I hope you all liked it, thank you for reading!
